Packed into our great city are over 400 café bars and restaurants with every style of food you can imagine and hundreds of Pubs and Bars so you have no excuse taking your stag pary to Burger King or a grotty little Boozer.
We have selected just a few for you here, all suitable for stag parties. It was hard work, but someone’s got to do it!
Tip: Phone in advance and make your reservation if eating, and if at all possible don’t get too pi**ed when trying to get in to the bigger bars. (Yeah right!)
Pubs & Bars good for Stag Parties
Old Orleans, 1-3 Prince Street, Brighton.
Tel: 01273 747000
In the heart of the Old Laines, this place is very popular with Stag and Hen Parties looking to have a good time. It looks a bit like a fairground ride from outside but there are loads of bottled and draught beers, wines and spirits – Recommended for Stags warm-up!
The Toad & Picture House, 75-79 East Street, Brighton,
Tel: 01273 203200
As the name implies this used to be a cinema, but it’s now a large trendy bar along one of the busiest streets in Brighton, with regular drinks promotions, great music and a large dance floor. This is a HIT!!!
Providence, 130 Western Road, Hove.
Tel: 01273 727822
Ideal if you are planning to go the “Beach Party School Disco” at the Babylon Lounge, as this bar (Previously called the Litten Tree) is about a £3 taxi ride away. It has a small dance floor, food menu and very reasonably priced drinks, with loads of promotions - Highly recommended for Stag Parties!
The Ha Ha Bar, North Street, Brighton,
Tel: 01273 737080
A large trendy bar with seating outside (in the summer) located at the bottom of North Street just behind the Brighton Pavillion (Or the Taj Mahal as my mate called it on his first visit to Brighton). It has decent beers and excellent service. Recommended for Stag Parties!
Eating for Stag Parties
China Garden, 88 - 91 Preston Street, Brighton.

Ok, forget the interior, it’s not fab, BUT the food is! Impeccable service and probably the best Chinese meal you’ll ever have. While munching your way through their meat or vegetarian options you can watch the rest of the west pier falling away, as it has a lovely view of the sea (If you get a window seat – Ed) – Recommended for Stag Parties!
Al Forno, 36 East Street, Brighton.

Al Duomo, No 7, Pavillion Buildings, Brighton.

Buddies Restaurant, 46-48 Kings Road, Brighton.

Brighton’s only 24 Hour Restaurant! It’s very popular with stag parties, probably because it never closes and is located not far from the big nightclubs and the seafront, you can sit outside in the summer and watch the sun come up over the English Channel. It serves good old-fashioned dishes like mixed grills, burgers, fish & chips and of course your all day breakfasts. No reservation required but make sure your stag parties not acting too drunk at the door and be nice to the doormen – Recommended. (If you’re hungry at 4.00 am!)
